Omega Computing offer a digital download service on various software purchases. If you opt for a digital download you will need to follow the guide below so you can begin downloading
Shortly after your purchase you will recieve a e-mail from containing your purchase file (.torrent) please keep this file safe as without you will not be able to download your purchase
We use a p2p (peer-2-peer) technology which allows our customers to quickly access and download their software without the need for disks, and waiting around for deliveries.
Step 1)
Download and install this tiny program called '
Utorrent'
Step 2) Open up the email we sent you containing your purchase file (normally a green U) and save this to your desktop
Step 3) Now just double click on your purchase file to begin your download
Due to the large nature of some of the files, download times will vary on your connection speed, if you find your speeds are slower than you expected, for example your only downloading at around 4kB/s it might be worth checking out a site called
portforward.com, this is a very helpful site and it will show you how to 'portforward' so you get faster speeds on your downloads
